Launched by the League of Women Voters Education Fund (LWVEF) in October of 2006, VOTE411.org is a "one-stop-shop" for election related information. It provides nonpartisan information to the public with both general and state-specific information on many aspects of the election process.
This new Web site, www.VOTE411.org, was a huge success! In just 10 days, nearly 4,000 Web sites were linked to VOTE411.org and the site received almost a million visitors, who reviewed over 4 million pages of information. VOTE411.org also hosted over 200 Voters' Guides, providing voters with information on state and local candidates and ballot measures

Reforming Ohio's Democracy: What's Wrong, What We Can Do About It
COLUMBUS – Today, a working group composed of representatives of Ohio’s leading civic organizations and prominent scholars unveiled a wide-ranging report on Ohio’s democracy. The report, entitled Reforming Ohio’s Democracy: What’s Wrong, What Can We Do About It, examines systemic problems in the state’s political system, which reduce citizens’ confidence in government and politics. The report focuses on legislative redistricting, campaign finance, governmental ethics, judicial elections, election administration, and open government. Read more.
